Early trial of Facebook Account Kit leads to higher login rates and increased advertising revenue

Beijing, April 27, 2016 – APUS Group, one of China’s fastest growing technology companies with over 450 million users of its APUS User System for Android, has unveiled results from early integration with Facebook’s Analytics Push and Account Kit – both announced at Facebook F8. 

APUS has integrated the new tools into APUS ME, its account management and user profile tool, which gives users an improved experience when using Facebook to login. It also means that users’ profile information and settings are stored in the cloud via APUS ME, allowing them to easily change devices and migrate their information. 

Trialling the new features in the run up to F8, APUS saw a 400% increase in logins via Facebook – showing the positive impact both on active Facebook users, and also on lapsed users – whose activity increased directly as a result of the changes to APUS ME.

Another improved Facebook tool released at F8 is Audience Network – a new way for advertisers to extend their campaigns beyond Facebook and into other mobile apps. As ad-funded apps it’s important that the ads shown within the APUS user system are highly relevant for each individual; by using Facebook’s Audience Network, APUS has implemented native ad units integrate more into the user experience, alongside improved targeting. This has helped to deliver higher engagement rates for advertisers, and ensures that users’ experience and flow is not disrupted by intrusive or irrelevant ads.
