New online publisher GAMESCO approached us to help them increase their corporate profile. Helmed by games industry veteran Rob Ollett, GAMESCO is a new breed of networked video-game publisher, producing PC and console games based on iconic Hollywood film and television brands and IP. What we did

We identified several key media hooks for the company, namely that GAMESCO had a unique approach to publishing coupled with top-tier management combined with the fact that it had signed for key IP and was was the first games publisher to be based on the Isle of Man. We then identified core media to pitch the story into and wrote a press release that captured the key facts that we had identified. We also worked with the Isle of Man government to secure their support and help seed the story.

The results

There was a large amount of interest in the specialist games media with regards to GAMESCO and the new approach it was adopting as a ‘networked’ game publisher. We secured coverge in key target publications including Gamasutra, gamesindustry.biz, MCV, Develop and The Manx Independent.
